アイルランド訛りの女の子がまくしたてるところから始まる冒頭
このMVの主人公はこの女の子かと思った矢先
うんこ（給食）まみれになって登場
そして、主人公はあの給食のおばちゃんだと気が付く。
これ以上ない始まりかただと思う。
そして、家に帰り、自分が小さかった時に輝いていた時のビデオを見て、昔を懐古する。
僕がこのMVで一番好きなところ、大切だと思うところは隣のシマウマの存在だ。
彼はとなりでただ手拍子をしている。
次の日の朝（なんと隣で寝てたの校長先生だったｗ）
いつものように仕事をするのだが、
校長先生兼彼氏？がおそらくこの女性へのサプライズケーキ（誕生日？）を用意してくれていた。
にもかかわらず、この女性はすっぽかし、挙句の果てに殴ってしまう。
彼の思いやりに気が付いてないのだ。
そのあとにあの嫌味な女の子が楽しそうに踊るシーンがある。
この箇所も大切な意味を帯びていると思う。
なぜなら、その女の子を悪、悪者として扱うならこのシーンはなかったはずだ。
しかし、このシーンはあり、しかも後ろに給食のおばちゃんまでもいる。
そして、大団円へと向かっていく、、、
この歌の大きなメッセージとしては
どれほどつらくても、前向きに生きようということはあきらかだが、
このMVにはもう一つのメッセージが隠されていると思う。
給食のおばちゃんが輝いてた頃のシマウマ
楽しそうに踊っていた嫌味な女の子に対してのおばちゃん
みんな輝いていたときには誰かがその輝きを支えていてくれたということだ。
そして、自分が輝けない時は支える側に回ればいい。
さらに、
今の給食のおばちゃんにとっての校長先生のように
実は、輝けていない時もひそかに支えてくれている人がいる
というメッセージも含まれているのかもしれない
自分の人生を振り返っても
他の人に比べればまだまだ浅いかもしれないが
それなりに底はあった。
今はその底から脱しつつあるのだが、
その底の時に、この曲を聴いて振り返ってみると、
支えてくれた人がいたことに気づく。
そして、今できることは
その人たちに感謝を伝えると共に
底を経験しているだろう身の周りの人にそっと手を差し伸べることなのではないかと思う。
最後に、僕が底にいたときに大事にしていた言葉を送って締めたいと思う。
